From my studio nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, I delve into nature's intricate language, translating its textures and complexities into tangible forms. My artistic journey is a continuous exploration, a conversation with the environment that surrounds me.

My ongoing series, "Primordial Sea Bouquets," is a deeply personal narrative, a visual meditation on life's origins and the ocean's vital role. "Primordial" evokes the first elements, the very beginning of time, a time when the sea held the nascent spark of existence. "Sea" represents the vast, encompassing expanse covering 70% of our planet, a realm of breathtaking beauty and profound mystery. "Bouquet" signifies a gathering, a carefully curated collection of nature's inherent shapes, textures, and dynamic movements.
These works are not merely representations of the underwater world but a tribute to its profound environmental significance. The sea is the lifeblood of our planet, a delicate ecosystem essential for our survival and continued preservation. Through my art, I seek to illuminate the intricate details and immense variations of forms that thrive beneath the surface, inviting viewers to pause, observe, and connect with the hidden wonders of the deep.
I work continuously, allowing the "Primordial Sea Bouquets" to evolve, to take on new forms, shapes, and colors—or, at times, to exist in the stark beauty of sans color. This process mirrors the dynamic nature of the ocean itself, a constant flux of change and renewal. My intention is to spark curiosity, encourage a closer look, and foster a deeper appreciation for the breathtaking complexity of the underwater world.
